Sale of cards in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support
On Sunday September 24th
cards will be on sale at the 10 am service in the church porch. Su Viney, who hosts the Bethany House Group, makes beautiful hand-made cards for all occasions. Su gives of her time and talent, so 100% of the money raised from these reasonably priced cards goes directly to Macmillan Cancer Support. Please do remember to bring some money with you should you wish to support this charity. Thank you very much.

Confirmation
A Confirmation Service will be held at St. John’s Church Lacey Green on September 24th at 6pm. If you (or your son/daughter) would like to consider being confirmed please contact James. Confirmation is traditionally seen as the entry point to receive Holy Communion as a person ‘confirms’ for themselves the promises made on their behalf at their Baptism. Preparation sessions will take place in the church hall on Friday September 8th and 15th from 5-7pm. James
