Prayer of the Week
O God of eternal glory, you anointed Jesus your servant to bear our sins, to encourage the weary, to raise up and restore the fallen. Keep before our eyes the splendour of the paschal mystery of Christ, and, by our sharing in the passion and resurrection, seal our lives with the victorious sign of his obedience and exaltation. We ask this through Christ, our liberator from sin, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, holy and mighty God for ever and ever. Amen

Churchwarden and Deanery Synod vacancy
We need to find a suitable person to be the second churchwarden. The primary role of churchwardens is attending most of the 10 am services on a Sunday morning and at major festivals, and to have a concern for the church, its people and its buildings. Charlie is very willing to carry on helping out with practical and maintenance issues such as the church boiler and the lawnmowers so this will lighten the load. There is also a vacancy for the Deanery Synod which acts as a link between the local church and Diocese. The synod meets 3 times a year and means that you automatically become a member of St. Dunstan’s Church Council (PCC) which meets 8/9 times each year on a Monday evening. If you are interested in filling either of these roles please speak with James.
