We hope you will appreciate worshipping here with us. Please take away our welcome leaflet on the table for all of our services and activities. Please do make use of the children’s corner in church with books, colouring sheets, toys etc. The 10 o’clock club for babies, toddlers and children meet in the church hall where coffee, squash etc. is served after the 10 am service.
The Church is open daily from at least 9.30-4.00pm.

Third Sunday of Epiphany
The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light. Mindful of the light of Christ that shines in our hearts and lives, let us come before God in prayer and praise.
First Reading: Isaiah 9 v 1-4
Isaiah declares that in time to come light will shine in the darkest corners of the land of God’s people.
Second Reading: 1 Corinthians 1 v 10-18
Paul reminds the church in Corinth that the Christian faith is not about being better than others, and appeals to them to unite around the cross of Christ.
Gospel: Matthew 4 v 12-23
The prophecy of Isaiah is lived out by Jesus, who makes his home in Galilee, where God had promised his light would shine.

Prayer of the week:
God of salvation, the splendour of your glory dispels the darkness of earth, for in Christ we behold the nearness of your kingdom. Now make us quick to follow where he beckons, eager to embrace the tasks of the gospel. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God forever and ever. Amen.

The PCC met on Monday. They would like to extend their grateful thanks to everyone who has helped, contributed, attended and the many who have done that bit extra to enable our church and chapel to welcome over 600 people to celebrate over the Christmas period.

Pop-Up Cinema in St Dunstan’s Church
Lion King (PG) Feb 8th at 5.30pm. This Disney animated feature follows the adventures of the young lion Simba, the heir of his father, Mufasa. Simba's wicked uncle, Scar, plots to usurp Mufasa's throne by luring father and son into a stampede of wildebeests. But Simba escapes, and only Mufasa is killed. Simba returns as an adult to take back his homeland from Scar with the help of his friends Timon and Pumbaa.
All is True (12) Feb 29th at 6.30pm. The year is 1613, and Shakespeare is acknowledged as the greatest writer of the age. But disaster strikes when his renowned Globe Theatre burns to the ground. Devastated, Shakespeare returns to Stratford, where he must face a troubled past and a neglected family. Haunted by the death of his only son, Hamnet, he struggles to mend the broken relationship with his wife and daughters. In so doing, he is ruthlessly forced to examine his own failings as a husband and father.

Ride and Stride
Very many thanks to those who took part in or helped with this event. £172.63 has come to St Dunstan's with the same amount going to Bucks Historic Churches.
Milk Bottle Tops
Thanks to everybody who gives me these. They are recycled into wellies, and the profits fund an air ambulance. More donations always welcome - Rosemary
Later Youth Group
The Later Youth group is meets once a month on a Sunday evening to bring together secondary school aged young people from all churches or none. The group are looking for volunteers, particularly those interested in Christian youth work to come along and join in the fun. Friendship Group 19th February 2.30pm The Friendship group meets every third Wednesday of the month. Come and join in the next meeting for a Beetle Drive fun afternoon.
FROM WINCHESTER TO CANTERBURY David Williams is to lead pilgrims on a walk along the Pilgrims Way from Winchester to Canterbury from 31st May to 14th June. For more information, see notice in porch about the "Pilgrims Way Open Evening" at St Mary's on Tuesday 25th February from 7.30 - 9.00pm.
