Prayer of the week
God our Father, in love you sent your Son that the world may have life: lead us to seek him among the outcast and find him in those in need, for Jesus Christ’s sake. Amen.

Your prayers are asked this week for:

  • The troubled places of the world, especially for the people of Syria and Iraq, that there may be a just peace, and that those who have become refugees may be enabled to return to their homes.
  • Those who are suffering as a result of the severe weather, especially those whose homes have been damaged by floods: that they may be kept safe, and receive the help they need to rebuild and repair.
  • Those who have no homes, and those who cannot afford to heat their homes this winter, and struggle to feed their families:
  • Those considering or preparing for confirmation and those recently confirmed.
  • All nations struggling to pay off past debts and for the international community to be more generous in their support
  • Aylesbury Road (MR & PR) Abbeyfield House (PR)
  • Those who are in need in our parish:
  • And also further afield for:
    • Alastair, Uncle Frank, Katy, Georgina Cole, Robert, baby Molly, Gabie, Dave Skinner, Andy
