Prayer of the Week
God of all the living, in the resurrection of Christ Jesus you have given us life which even death cannot destroy. Remember your unshakable promise and strengthen us to live in this world as your new creation. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God forever and ever. Amen.

Your prayers are asked this week for:

  • All families and peoples who have been torn apart by war and now struggle to build a new future
  • We pray for the members of the armed forces for the dangers they face on our behalf and the peace they keep in the world.
  • Our country and Government during this time of uncertainty and pathfinding towards Brexit
  • Secondary Schools in Aylesbury, High Wycombe and Thame serving this area,  their pupils, staff, heads and governors
  • Northmill & Oak Road (PR) Goodacres Lane, Silver Birch Drive & Woodbank (LG)
  • Those who are in need in our parish:

More sidespeople/welcomers required
Providing a friendly and confident welcome helps to sustain a vibrant worshipping community at St. Dunstan’s. We need three or four extra volunteers to help out at the 10 am service about 8 times each year in giving out hymn books, putting up  hymn numbers, reading the lesson (optional), and putting the hymn books etc. back at the end. It requires being at church by 9.15am and finishing at about 11.25am. In particular we need help on the 1st Sunday of the month which could be done by a family. If you are interested in finding out more/helping out please speak to Susanne Dodds (342746) or James.
