Summer Study Course

Summer Study Course

When I survey...Christ's Cross and ours

This is a series of 5 sessions taking place on a Thursday evening in St Dunstan's Church Hall 8.00pm to 9.30pm.

The death of Christ is the dominant and dramatic theme in the new Testament. So it is not surprising that over the centuries the Cross has become the symbol of the Christian faith. Jesus' crucifixion gives rise to many themes including: the place of silence in our noisy world, despair and hope, a suffering world and the challenge of living as disciples when Christianity is no longer mainstream.

June 17th Darkness at Noon
June 24th Into Great Silence
July 1st The Child on the Cross
July 22nd Outside a City Wall
July 29th Touching the Rock

No prior Booking is required but please contact Rev James Tomkins (01844275944) for a course booklet (£3) or for any further information.
