Prayer for the week
God of life, source of all faith, through the waters of baptism you have raised us up in Jesus and given us life that endures. Day by day refine our faith, that we who have not seen the Christ may truly confess him as our Lord and God, and share the blessedness of those who believe. Grant this through Jesus Christ, the resurrection and the life, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God for ever and ever.

Your prayers are asked this week for:
 The Libyan people at this time of conflict and violence
 William, Kate and other couples getting married this year
 The new Bishop of Reading, Rt. Revd Andrew Proud
 A large vote in the local elections and national AV referendum being held at the beginning of May
 All those who seek to make unreasonable profits in return for their goods and services, and that we may all see only a fair return for our materialism
 Ministry to young people: Church youth groups and their leaders, Risborough Lighthouse.
 Residents of Redland End and St Dunstan’s Close (Monks Risborough) and Highfield Road and Horns Lane (Princes Risborough)
