Prayer for the week
O God of mystery, out of death you delivered Christ Jesus, and he walked in hidden glory with his disciples. Stir up our faith, that our hearts may burn within us at the sound of his word, and our eyes be opened to recognize him in the breaking of the bread. Grant this through Jesus Christ, the first-born from the dead, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God for ever and ever.
Your prayers are asked this week for:
 All who continue to mourn those killed on 9/11 and 7/7
 The Anglican Church in Newcastle (New South Wales).
 For our newly elected politicians
 Our Queen, for all who bear authority in her name as we acknowledge everything under the rule of Christ, our risen and ascended King.
 The Royal British Legion and those serving at the RAF base at Walter’s Ash.
 Residents of Greenwood and Grimms Meadow (Walters Ash) and Hambye Close and Hets Orchard (Lacey Green)
 Those in need
 For the recently departed
◦ Elizabeth McGown, Gerald Brock, Ron Johnson, Peter
 Those whose anniversary of death falls at this time particularly : Madeleine Cleaver
Please remember the charities that St Dunstan's supports, in particular this week:
