Prayer for the week
Merciful and gracious Father, you showed the fullness of your love when you gave your only Son for our salvation and sent down upon us the power of your Spirit. Complete within us the work of you love, that we who have communion in Christ may come to share fully the undying life he lives with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God for ever and ever.

Your prayers are asked this week for:
 Charlotte Brockington, Lauren Kendall and others being confirmed at Holy Trinity, Bledlow on Wednesday
 the peoples of Syria, Libya and Greece, as they face violence and conflict in their countries
 those who face anxiety and an uncertain future as a result of cuts to welfare services
 Fellowship and Friends groups, Caring and Sharing Together (CAST), Mothers Unions and covenanters.
 The victims of unfair trading subsidies and cartels which make their products impossible to sell.
 Residents of Woodbine Close (Longwick), Deanfield Close, (Saunderton)
 Those in need
 For the recently departed particularly:
◦ Michelle
 Those whose anniversary of death falls at this time particularly:
◦ Sir Patrick Astley-Cooper, Katie Ruthie, Terry Bellamy, Gladys Collier
Please remember the charities that St Dunstan's supports, in particular this week:
Rope (Relief for Oppressed People Everywhere), combating oppressive poverty across the world and striving to change the lives of the poor.

‘Reading the Bible’ and ‘Pilgrimage’
The Bishop of Oxford has produced two simple guides on these aspects of Christian discipleship. They are short, very readable, practical and informative. Please take a copy with you as you leave. James

Do you enjoy cutting grass?
I receive numerous comments throughout the year about how beautiful the churchyard looks. We rely on a small but dwindling number of people to help cut and strim the grass. If you can spare a couple of hours a fortnight between March and November to help out in this way please can you let me know? The church has a variety of lawnmowers and strimmers that you can use. I look forward to hearing from you. James
