Prayer for the week
God of majesty, yours is the power that raised Christ from death, yours the glory that exalted him to your right hand. By the mystery of the Ascension, sustain our hope as we bear witness to our baptism. By the perpetual outpouring of your Spirit, confirm your Church in its mission of salvation. Grant this through Jesus Christ, the first-born from the dead, who lives and reigns with you in the unit of the Holy Spirit, God for ever and ever.

Your prayers are asked this week for:
 Those killed or left seriously ill as a result of the E coli outbreak
 Those being baptised and confirmed this month
 The makers of furniture, for good hard wearing solid household furniture which become in time old friends
 Those living away from home, weekly commuters
 Residents of The Butts (Princes Risborough)Perry Lane and Bledlow Ridge (Bledlow)
 Those in need
 For the recently departed particularly:
◦ Gerald Moorcraft, Jan Homer, Raymond East, Frederick Moore
 Those whose anniversary of death falls at this time particularly:
◦ Enid Phillips, Keith Janes, Gordon Marr, Joan Downes
Please remember the charities that St Dunstan's supports, in particular this week:
Cruse Bereavement Care, supporting bereaved people and enabling anyone bereaved by death to understand their grief and cope with their loss. The organisation provides support and offers information, advice, education and training services.
