Prayer for the week
Send down, O God, upon you people the flame of your Holy Spirit, and fill with the abundance of your sevenfold gift the Church you brought forth from your Son’s pierced side. May your life-giving Spirit lend fire to our words and strength to our witness. Send us forth to the nations of the world to proclaim with boldness your wondrous work of raising Christ to your right hand. We make our prayer through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God for ever and ever.

Your prayers are asked this week for:
 the peoples of Syria and Libya, facing violence and conflict
 the people of Japan who are still struggling as a result of the earthquake and tsunami three months ago
 for those facing problems as a result of drought in our country,
 all students sitting exams
 The ministry of Choirs, Organists and musicians
 Those who are irritated and annoyed by the use of mobile phones, may we all be mindful of the sensitivity of others to their use
 Residents of Walnut Tree lane, (Longwick), Horsenden and Horsenden Lane
 Those in need
 For the recently departed particularly:
◦ Tony Lane, Raymond East
 Those whose anniversary of death falls at this time particularly:
◦ Megan North, Pamela Crawford, Winifred Baily, Brian Gatensbury

Please remember the charities that St Dunstan's supports, in particular this week:
Anglicans in World Mission (USPG), working in direct partnership with Anglican Churches in over 50 countries, helping to support vital church work, including healthcare, education, leadership training and action for social justice
