Prayer for the Week
Risen, ascended Lord, as we rejoice at your triumph, fill your Church on earth with power and compassion, that all who are estranged by sin may find forgiveness and know your peace, to the Glory of God the Father.  Amen.

Your prayers are asked this week for:

  • Economic and political stability in Greece and the European Union
  • The work of Iain Rennie Hospice at Home, Florence Nightingale House and MacMillan Nurses.
  • Those suffering from cancer and those who fear it.
  • Those who lead our church, for misters and clergy in the heavy burden of holding to the vision of Christ’s service.
  • Residents of Poppy Rd (PR) & Water Lane(Sp)
  • Those in need who are known in our parish:
  • and also further afield for:
    • Gordon Haynes; Joan Male; Richard Irvine; Sally Maddox; Sarah, Matt and Riley; Emma, Matt and Olivia, Isabel
  • The recently departed:
    • Brenda Sibley
  • Those whose anniversary of death falls at this time particularly:
    • Monica  Arnold, William Plater,
