If you can help distribute flyers from August 25th to remind people of this event please write your name on the sheet on the table by the door and take an appropriate number of flyers. Thank you.

Cycle and Sponsorship

Please cycle in aid of St Dunstan's & St Peter's Owlswick on Saturday September 14th. Sponsor forms are available from Angela Miller 01844 273065.

Trip to Salisbury Saturday 21st September
Leaving at 8.45 am from the lay-by in Monks Risborough, a coach trip is being organised to Salisbury Cathedral. We shall be leaving Salisbury at about 6.15 pm to return to Monks Risborough at approximately 8.30pm. The cost of the trip is £18 (children £9) which includes entry to the cathedral (cash/cheques payable to PCC Monks Risborough to be passed to James). Please bring a picnic or enjoy the refreshments offered by the cathedral refectory.  If you (and your friends/family) are interested in coming please contact Rev James Tomkins (01844) 275944 jamestomkins@btinternet.com

Can you blow bubbles and read a story (though not at the same time)!
We need to find two more people who are willing to help run the Monks Monkeys sessions during term time for the under 5s and their parent/carer. The sessions take place from 2pm to 3pm on a Thursday in the church hall. There is very little preparation time required and the only skill you need to have is to enjoy being with babies and young children. Please speak with James if wish to find out more.
