Prayer of the Week
Inspired by your Spirit, Lord, we gather in your temple to welcome your Son. Enlighten our minds and lay bare our inmost thoughts. Purify your people, and make us obedient to the demands of your law, so that we may mature in wisdom and grow to full stature in your grace. We ask this though our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God for ever and ever Amen.

Your prayers are asked this week for:

A Confirmation Service will be held at St. Mary’s Church, Aylesbury on the evening of Easter Eve, Saturday April 20th. If you (or your son/daughter) would like to consider being confirmed please contact James. Confirmation is traditionally seen as the entry point to receive Holy Communion as a person ‘confirms’ the promises made on their behalf at their Baptism. Preparation sessions will take place on Saturday April 6th and April 13th from 10am to 12 noon. James

Monks Monkeys 10th Anniversary Party: help required
On March 23rd (2.30-4.30) everyone aged 0-12 (accompanied by an adult) is invited to a children’s party to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Monks Monkeys, the church’s toddler group. We need a qualified first aider to attend the event: please let me know if you can help. Anne White (346536) is making multiple ‘pass the parcels’.
