God of goodness and kindness, you invite all peoples to the banquet and offer them a feast beyond compare.  Give us you saving grace to keep unstained the robe of our baptism until that day when you welcome us to heaven’s joyful table.  We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God for ever and ever. Amen

Your prayers are asked this week for:

  • Archbishop Rowan Williams, as he begins his pastoral visit to Africa: that he will bring comfort, support, and hope of peace to persecuted Christians in the region.
  • Revd Jennifer Locke as she is installed as Team Vicar of Bledlow, Saunderton and Horsenden
  • An end to the conflicts in Libya, Afghanistan and other parts of the world
  • Local shops, post offices and small businesses
  • Residents of Crowbrook Road & The Hawthorns (MR), Blacksmiths Road and Blenheim Close (Longwick)
  • Those in need who are known in our parish:
  • and also further afield for:
    • Gordon Haynes; Christine; Deborah Ryley; Joan Male; Richard Irvine; Emma, Matt and Olivia; Sarah and Matt; Lauren, Richard Farrelly, Sally Maddox, Peter Donald, Dewis Smith
  • For the recently departed:
  • Those whose anniversary of death falls at this time particularly:
