Prayer of the week
Most glorious God, in Jesus you show us that your will is to save. Grant to us your people the boldness to desire a place in your kingdom, the courage to drink the cup of suffering, and the grace to find in service the glory you promise. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God for ever and ever. Amen.

The names of individuals whom we wish to remember can be added to the sheet IN BLOCK CAPITALS on the table in church. These will be read out as part of the service and there will be refreshments afterwards. James

At 9.30 am on Saturday November 7th and Saturday December 5th we are looking to clear the fallen leaves from the churchyard and to carry out some general tasks such as pruning trees and maintaining paths. We can provide some tools but if you can bring any yourself that would be extremely helpful. James

Ride and Stride for Bucks Historic Churches Trust
Although we only had three riders this year, they raised the superb total of £605! So many congratulations to them and thanks to all their sponsors. We had fifty- one participants visiting St Dunstan's and St Peter's. Thank you to those who welcomed them. The proceeds are shared between the Trust and our two churches.

Proposed parking restrictions in Mill Lane
Thank you to everyone who expressed their views. The proposals to include a single yellow line no waiting restriction between 10am and 11am & 2pm and 3pm have now been dropped and the double yellow lines at junctions kept. This should enable local residents easier access on to Mill Lane at busy times without having a negative impact on everyday church and community activities. The revised proposals can be found at http://www.transportforbucks.net/Roadworks-Centre/Schemes-and-projects/Our-schemes-and-projects/Princes-Risborough-amendments-to-parking.aspx and a copy is also on the noticeboard in the church porch. Thank you again for your support. James

Upgrading of Heating and Installation of New Boiler
The new boiler and new radiators have been successfully installed. We hope you notice the difference which should result in more instant and evenly spread heat throughout the church building. There will be a few weeks during which we will need to fine tune the system and the boiler settings, think about redecorating various parts of the church and the existing radiators, as well as slightly altering the position of some of the pews and redesigning the boxing in of the pipes in the children’s corner. If you have any comments please let James, Charlie or Susanne know, especially if you are too cold or too hot!

Team of suitably experienced/qualified First Aiders
We’re looking to establish a list of people who are suitably experienced or qualified in first aid so that in the event of an accident or emergency during a church service we are able to respond quickly and effectively. If you would like to be considered for this list please speak to James, Charlie or Susanne.

Will Aid
A local solicitor writes your Will without charging their normal fee. Instead you are invited to make a voluntary donation to Will Aid. The suggested donation is £95 for a basic single Will or £150 for a pair of basic mirror Wills. The nearest participating solicitor is D C Kaye & Co, 10a High Street, Wendover, HP22 6EA or Old Bank Chambers, 2 Wycombe Road, Prestwood, Great Missenden, Bucks, HP16 0PW. Email: jan@dc-kaye.co.uk Telephone:01494 729024 (Lucy Pankhurst) www.dckaye.co.uk As some solicitors can get oversubscribed, you are advised to contact a participating solicitor as soon as possible to book your Will Aid appointment for November. More details can be found at http://www.willaid.org.uk/ I would be interested in receiving feedback from anyone making use of this initiative. James

Things don’t grow on trees!
Well in this case they hopefully do as we’re looking for someone who might be able to supply or donate a 10 foot high Christmas tree to St. Dunstan’s in time for the decorations for the Christmas season. Please let James know if you (or someone else you know) might be able to help out
