Prayer of the week
Blessed Lord, who caused all holy Scriptures to be written for our learning: help us so to hear them, to read, mark, learn and inwardly digest them that, through patience, and the comfort of your holy word, we may embrace and for ever hold fast the hope of everlasting life, which you have given us in our Saviour Jesus Christ, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.

  • All refugees who flee to escape intolerable situations in their homeland.
  • Freedom of speech and religious toleration
  • Those being confirmed at the Deanery Confirmation Service on November 1st

Proposed parking restrictions in Mill Lane
Thank you to everyone who expressed their views. The proposals to include a single yellow line no waiting restriction between 10am and 11am & 2pm and 3pm have now been dropped and the double yellow lines at junctions kept. This should enable local residents easier access on to Mill Lane at busy times without having a negative impact on everyday church and community activities. The revised proposals can be found at http://www.transportforbucks.net/Roadworks-Centre/Schemes-and-projects/Our-schemes-and-projects/Princes-Risborough-amendments-to-parking.aspx and a copy is also on the noticeboard in the church porch. Thank you again for your support. James

Upgrading of Heating and Installation of New Boiler
The new boiler and new radiators have been successfully installed. We hope you notice the difference which should result in more instant and evenly spread heat throughout the church building. There will be a few weeks during which we will need to fine tune the system and the boiler settings, think about redecorating various parts of the church and the existing radiators, as well as slightly altering the position of some of the pews and redesigning the boxing in of the pipes in the children’s corner. If you have any comments please let James, Charlie or Susanne know, especially if you are too cold or too hot!

Team of suitably experienced/qualified First Aiders
We’re looking to establish a list of people who are suitably experienced or qualified in first aid so that in the event of an accident or emergency during a church service we are able to respond quickly and effectively. If you would like to be considered for this list please speak to James, Charlie or Susanne.

Email: jan@dc-kaye.co.uk Telephone:01494 729024 (Lucy Pankhurst) www.dckaye.co.uk As some solicitors can get oversubscribed, you are advised to contact a participating solicitor as soon as possible to book your Will Aid appointment for November.
