Message from the next Bishop of Oxford:

'It is a great honour to be nominated as the next Bishop of Oxford.  A great trust has been committed to my charge, to lead this Diocese and to serve these communities.
I have had a very good day meeting some of the Church House staff, talking to the press and very briefly visiting each of the four archdeaconries. Of course there was only time for a whistle stop tour but I’m very much looking forward to making longer visits to all corners of the diocese when I take up office later in the year.
It will of course be some months before I arrive and take up this new role, but the Diocese will be daily in my prayers and I look forward so much to working with you.' -Steven Croft, Bishop of Sheffield:
