Prayer for the Week

God of the prophets, in every age you send the work of truth, familiar yet new, a sign of contradiction.  Let us now be counted among those who lack faith, but give us the vision to see Christ in our midst and to welcome your saving word.  Grant this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God for ever and ever.  Amen.

Our God is a great big God,
Our God is a great big God,
Our God is a great big God,
And he holds us in his hands. (Repeat)

He's higher than a sky scraper
and he's deeper than a submarine.
He's wider than the universe
and beyond my wildest dreams.
And he's known me and he's loved me
since before the world began.
How wonderful to be a part of God's amazing plan.
